Pale yellow with thin white head. Aroma of sweet malts and very light honey. Taste of next to nothing but honey and sweet malted accented water. Thin, weak and bland, but I’m not a big fan of this style. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Poured a nice golden color with a good bit of white head. Flavor seemed very off and metallic on first impression, a little like licking a nine volt battery. Got better on subsequent sips, but never really rose above mediocre. And if the honey flavor was supposed to be the big shining star, it certainly wasn’t as present as it should have been. Fairly uninteresting beer. Dorwart (2595) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Thin white head off fine bubbles. Vegetal notes and some sweet malts. Maybe some honey in there. Medium gold in color. Thin watery flavor with some more sweetness and a bit of bready malts. Pretty thin in many ways. Dry pasty finish and lacking flavor and any depth. While not offensive in any way, not worth the time. IlanMan (1015) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Light golden pour with a pretty boring taste of light honey and light malt. Tasted a little watery and overall could use more taste and body. Won’t buy this one again. Skyview (6076) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - OCT 12, 2007
Sampled from 12-oz bottle, picked up from Ryan’s Liquors in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-hazy, light golden blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissolves clean. Aroma of light roasted malt, a touch of citrus hops some fruity pears and a touch of honey. Taste is light bodied, smooth, with just a light honey bread flavor with a citrus aftertaste. Finish is slightly dry with a honey character flavor that quickly disappears. An average light beer overall.

Had this beer on 10/15/1998. Color is a lightly hazy gold with low carbonation and head. Aroma is full of a honey scent. Taste starts with a light body that goes down smooth. Finish has that honey brew taste that most do but is very light. It’s a bit light, but would be ok on a nice summer day. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - SEP 11, 2007
This blond ale pours a light yellow gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity and sweet, with some honey. A light to medium bodied blonde ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of honey that strengthens as the beer warms. The hops are slightly floral. Kind of your run of the mill blonde ale. Nice body and good carbonation. Is has not real flaws of note, its just not all that interesting to me. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet MattShizzle (614) - Bernville, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 3, 2007
Bottle - from sampler pack. Medium golden color, slightly cloudy. So so. Very little flavor. sfhc21 (74) - Midlothian, Texas, USA - FEB 7, 2007
Poured 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Light yellowish cloudy color. Small white head. Kind of bland at first and then the honey taste kicks in. There is a lasting aftertaste of honey and butter with an oily texture. Okay, but not great. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 4, 2007
Bottled. Poured clear medium golden with a dusting of white head. Aroma was of heavy pineapple and honey sweetness.. somewhat juicy and intriguing. Dry, grainy wheat and honey in the flavor.. sweet.. vegetal finish wasn’t so good.. some pineapple bitterness across the middle. Dry on the palate with a rather ugly feel to it.. watery middle.
