Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

Bottle from Beer Geek. Amber tinged golden color with a disappearing white head. Aroma is rather citrus. Light bodied with creamy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt with mild citrus hop. It’s not really sweet, but there is a touch of honey flavor. Finishes more dry than not. Refreshing.

Ratman197 (14856) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 25, 2012
Bottle poured a clear golden amber with a lingering ring of ivory foam. Aromas of bread, graininess and light honey. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, honey and light graininess with a crisp lingering honey finish.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman’s West Madison. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a large white frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of honey, grain and very faint hops. The taste is cereal grains, honey, faint nuts and hops. Thin-medium bodied.

Just some below-average craft brew swill. It is light with a touch of diacetyl and malty sweetness.

hopdog (12584) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 11, 2005
Picked this one up from my trip out to Milawaukee. Poured a light and slightly cloudy yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of citrus, light flowers and sweet malts. Bready tasting with a light sweetness to it. If theres honey in this one, it is more apparent in the aroma. Thin and watery body.

DocLock (10706) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 27, 2006
Bottle. Pours medium gold with off-white head. Aroma of grainy malt and some hopcitrus. Fairly light palate with tastes of pale malt, some slight hops, and some crisp faint apricotty notes.

BVery (10510) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - MAR 12, 2012
Bottle. Mostly clear pale orange pour with a minimal white head. Aroma is cereal grain, grass, and maybe just a hint of sweetness. Lighter palate. Taste is not offensive - some grass and light hop - but not interesting or all that good either. Hot day on a boat? Sure, I suppose.

arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - FEB 9, 2010
Pours golden with white head, aroma is floral with some malt, taste up front is a bit sweet and fruity, goes into sweet from the honey and goes into a light finish. Not bad.

drowland (8766) - Georgia, USA - AUG 13, 2010
8/14/10. 12oz bottle courtesy cbfobes! Clear golden pour (a little darker than a Bud Light) with a fizzy white head that fades to nothing fast. The aroma is cream corn with a hint of honey on plain bread. The flavor is bland pale malts, soapy pool water, and again a hint of honey on bread. Huge meh here, folks.
