Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

Bottle pours straw gold with a white head. Aroma shows grainy malt and plenty of honey. Flavor is basically the same with some grassy hops on the finish. Overall body is light, somewhat sweet, and finishes lightly bitter.

Clear light gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Not very sweet kind of stale that finishes dry. I found something off about this beer. Like Leinenkugels Honey Weiss it tastes alot like Bud lite.

Had this bottled in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Sweet aroma, little head, sweeter than most ales with slight overtones of lime. Decent.

polomagnifico (1202) - Saginaw, Michigan, USA - FEB 29, 2012
Bottle. Aroma has notes of honey, floral hops and cereal malts. Medium golden hue with a small mostly diminishing white head that left no lace. Flavor is medium sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is light bodied and watery average. Bleh.

pale, straw color with a small frothy head. sweet chardonnay nose, some floral hops. very thin, slightly malty with a weak bitter finish. kind of a fake sweetness. not much to see here (or taste...)

DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 17, 2011
This beer is really pretty decent, but still nothing much to it. I like some more complexity.

Getbetter (1033) - East Palo Alto, California, USA - JUN 3, 2010
From a 12oz thanks to capncali. pale in color, white head,a lite smell of honey and it has a taste of honey.oily feel, thin feel, light body.

IlanMan (1015) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 2, 2008
Light golden pour with a pretty boring taste of light honey and light malt. Tasted a little watery and overall could use more taste and body. Won’t buy this one again.

Lemke10 (981) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - MAR 11, 2013
This pours a clear, pale amber color with a slight, white head. There isn’t much to the scent other than some hints of grain and honey. The taste is fairly average but does have a decent honey taste that is better than Leinenkugel’s Honey Weiss. The texture is pretty watery with very little carbonation. Clean and refreshing, but nothing mind blowing.

MaxPower (961) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUL 20, 2002
Light golden color, light bodied with a light floral aroma, strong honey flavor.
