COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

I’ve tried a few honey ales and was never blown away by them. This one is no different. Golden pour with an aroma of honey, flavor is somewhat sweet but nothing memorable. An ok beer.

Poured a clear mid-gold with a light head and lacing. Aroma was sweet - honey, mallt, clover. Taste was light and slightly sweet with malts, honey and slight grassiness with very mild hop finish. Palate was OK. Overall, a decent but not a real great blonde ale.

On Tap: somewhat of a bummer as I was displeased with the watered down taste. No head and little to make me want another.

Have to admit it was pretty anyway. Clear golden. Small head. Very faint non-descript aroma. The beer came across as tart with a slight honey background flavor. I don’t know what kind of beer drinker this one would appeal to. Not to me.

It may have been because of the stronger beer I had right before this one, but I have had a few honey brews I have liked better than this one.

Not complete swill, like I was expecting, but plain as a schoolmarm’s underwear. If you had this open under the hot sun alongside a Blatz, the bees would be diving in that glorious ambrosia.....BLATZ! So stick with Blatz, and you won’t look like a jerk.....OK, so maybe you will.

Pretty average beer. Not extremely impressive, but not too bad either.

12oz. bottle. Pours a very pale yellow with a thin white head and loads of carbonation. Aroma is light and earthy, with an earthy yeast scent complemented by honey and citrusy hops. Body is light, with an earthy maltiness and some sweeter hops and honey flavors that don’t go anywhere in particular. Not bad, but really unremarkable.

Bottle. Pours a clear mid golden color. Aroma, as you would expect, is honey and malt. Taste is very thin though, lacking any real depth or character. As advertised, honey and sweet malt. Barely average. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Not great. Just not a whole lot of flavor. Tastes kind of like a macro swill with a tinge of sweetness.
