Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

I thought this was a very good honey beer. The honey was present but not overpowering, it let the other flavors shine through.

This is a great beer for a hot sunny day! My wife buys this beer for her and I all the time from Millers in Verona, WI.

I am not a big fan of honey beers, but this one suprised me. Not an overpowering honey taste. This was a darn good beer. I enjoyed drinking it while watching Summer Slam.

Pretty average beer. Not extremely impressive, but not too bad either.

Blatz King (150) - Whitewater, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 2, 2002
Not Bad. The aftertaste was really good and honeyey. I have had better Honey’s though.

Appearance is pale and golden while the head is oddly similar to a cola in that it dissipates quickly and loudly. The flavor is typical golden ale, easy to drink and does not have complex flavors to it. Not a top ale but still pretty good for the style and a good session ale.

THE BEER BARON (275) - Wisconsin, USA - MAY 12, 2001
It may have been because of the stronger beer I had right before this one, but I have had a few honey brews I have liked better than this one.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2003 this tastes alot like leine's honey weiss, but with more flavor-an excellent beer for a hot day(but its cold up here in the midwest these days)

Had this bottled in Stevens Point Wisconsin. Sweet aroma, little head, sweeter than most ales with slight overtones of lime. Decent.
