COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

Bottle. Slightly hazy straw colow with a somewhat thin white head. Light grass, dry honey and touch of DMS(cream corn) in the aroma. Hazelnut flavors and touch of dry malt. I've had this on tap before and found it more enjoyable than this sample, but maybe it was the best choice out of a bunch of macros.. I'll rerate if a fresher sample warrants.

Thin white head off fine bubbles. Vegetal notes and some sweet malts. Maybe some honey in there. Medium gold in color. Thin watery flavor with some more sweetness and a bit of bready malts. Pretty thin in many ways. Dry pasty finish and lacking flavor and any depth. While not offensive in any way, not worth the time.

Pale straw color, small white head that faded quite quickly.Malty aroma with a mild honey note,4 kinds of hops and none are detectable in the aroma,Interesting. There is a fairly sweet side to the aroma as well.Light malty taste, sweet with only a light honey presence. The after taste is mild sweet malt with very nearly no honey presence, and the hops still haven't shown up for the party.Watery feel kind of macroish in many ways.Is this a good brew no,average at best it is fairly drinkable but little else as far as goodness goes.

A new line for my grocery store, thought I’d try it since it is a regional brewery. Keepin’ it local, yo. Poured clear, light amber, with no head. Slight honey aroma with hint of yeast. Could barely taste the honey over the fizzy carbonation. I LUVS me some hops, didn’t taste a single one. I honestly felt bloated after 8 oz. After I let the beer breathe for about 45 minutes, the fizzy went away and the honey taste became more pronounced. I cant recommend this, will probably hide it in cooler at a party.

Just some below-average craft brew swill. It is light with a touch of diacetyl and malty sweetness.

Clear light gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Not very sweet kind of stale that finishes dry. I found something off about this beer. Like Leinenkugels Honey Weiss it tastes alot like Bud lite.

MilkmanDan (1942) - Eagan, Minnesota, USA - DEC 31, 2003
Light, like Lite. Nasty scent, sour and foul. Skunked macro. Taste has loads of honey, some cookie/biscuitish malts. Decent balance, astringent at end. Absolutely nasty as it warms, was decent cold but anything resembling regular drinking temperature gets very unpleasant quickly.

ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - MAY 25, 2008
Poured a nice golden color with a good bit of white head. Flavor seemed very off and metallic on first impression, a little like licking a nine volt battery. Got better on subsequent sips, but never really rose above mediocre. And if the honey flavor was supposed to be the big shining star, it certainly wasn’t as present as it should have been. Fairly uninteresting beer.

I’m aware that this is supposed to be a lighter beer, but that doesn’t change how bad it was. Virtually no aroma, taste, or feel. Will not be having again.
