Brewed in a traditional style, the Honey Ale is a golden blonde ale with a slight hop flavor and aroma. Highly carbonated with a thick frothy head and creamy texture, featuring a unique blend of 100% pure Wisconsin honey and three types of two row malted barley. Seasoned with four varieties of hops, the Honey Ale is truely one of the most interesting and unique craft beers available today.

Pale straw color, small white head that faded quite quickly.Malty aroma with a mild honey note,4 kinds of hops and none are detectable in the aroma,Interesting. There is a fairly sweet side to the aroma as well.Light malty taste, sweet with only a light honey presence. The after taste is mild sweet malt with very nearly no honey presence, and the hops still haven't shown up for the party.Watery feel kind of macroish in many ways.Is this a good brew no,average at best it is fairly drinkable but little else as far as goodness goes.

Clear light gold color with a medium white head. Aroma of honey and malt. Not very sweet kind of stale that finishes dry. I found something off about this beer. Like Leinenkugels Honey Weiss it tastes alot like Bud lite.

Light, like Lite. Nasty scent, sour and foul. Skunked macro. Taste has loads of honey, some cookie/biscuitish malts. Decent balance, astringent at end. Absolutely nasty as it warms, was decent cold but anything resembling regular drinking temperature gets very unpleasant quickly.

Poured a nice golden color with a good bit of white head. Flavor seemed very off and metallic on first impression, a little like licking a nine volt battery. Got better on subsequent sips, but never really rose above mediocre. And if the honey flavor was supposed to be the big shining star, it certainly wasnt as present as it should have been. Fairly uninteresting beer.

Im aware that this is supposed to be a lighter beer, but that doesnt change how bad it was. Virtually no aroma, taste, or feel. Will not be having again.

Big 20 beer tasting at Three Cellars Milwaukee. I found this disappointing. The Honey was more like a cough drop than anything. Very medicinal in the feel. Weak and thin on interest.

A beer with a lot of honey - that sounded good at the liquor store. Big Let down. A very light transparent washed out yellow color, a foul aroma, a watery taste. What's worse I've tasted more honey by getting stung by a bee! Kind of acerbic unpleasant aftertaste. Maybe it was so bad b/c expectations were high.

"Hello? Hello taste?! Where are you?!" A borderline clear yellow with a little head. No real hops or malt and barely any honey taste. Not a winner.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2006 12-ounce bottle. Pours gold with a medium-sized, short-lived white head. Theres almost nothing going on here--neutral aroma, and essentially a flavorless body. Well balanced carbonation; not fizzy or raw.
