Rich in color with a strong body and a very creamy texture, the Oatmeal Stout is a true beer lover's brew. The slight hop aroma distinguishes this stout from any other. The Oatmeal Stout is robust, full of body and flavor, and topped off with a creamy light brown head.

Bottle from six pack picked up on way back from SD trip. Dark pour with a creamy light tan head. First whiff is of milk chocolate. Oatmeal is also noticeable on the nose. Some type of stale liquorice present in the taste along with oatmeal and coffee.

This is my kind of sweet stout. Plenty of body, oily thick mouthfeel. Sweetness offset by other things going on.Chocolate nose with roasty notes. Thanks for the trade Ron.

This beer pours a very dark brown body with a small, tan head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aromas of dark chocolate dominate, with some coffee, oatmeal, and damp earth in the background. On the palate, it’s fairly light and easy, with oatmeal and chocolate flavors being tempered by a gentle, but noticeable sourdough-like tartness. It’s medium in weight, medium-light in carbonation, fairly dry, and gently acidic. Overall, it’s okay, but I’d prefer a bit more richness and intensity without the light tartness.
