I like it. It has a little taste of oatmeal. Not too strong.

A bit thin, but everything else is spot on. A good session ale.

wow...have to say this one is a damn fine looking beer! perfectly opaque held up to the light. head is definitely brown. aroma is a mixture of chocolate and coffee that comes off with a hint of gasoline..yeah, i think i’m nuts!! great coffee flavors but the body is a little thin...either way, this was a big surprise.

Strong coffee aroma with some sweetness as if cream and sugar were added to your coffee. Taste is of coffee, robust bitterness with some sweetness and chocolate. Not too exotic but a very good midwest Oatmeal stout.

Pitch black with a light tan head. Smells incredibly strong and rich... thick french roast coffee and licorice, and a small amount of hickory smoke flavor. Feels thick and oily, sludge basically... really impressing me. The oatmeal flavor is mild, not artificial and not transparent. It really tastes like it belongs in this stout. Syrupy and sweet finish rounds out a great sweet stout.

This is a good Sweet Stout. Roasty, sweet, and coffee flavors. Finishes rich, creamy, and smooth finish.

Pours a four finger light brown head that fades quickly leaving no lace. Black color. Light carbonation and heavy bodied. Malty/chocolate nose. Starts sweet, with hints of bitter chocolate at finish. Nice beefy oatmeal stout. $1.49 for a 12oz bottle from Blue Max Liquor Burnsville, Mn.

Mildly roasty aroma of black & chocloate malts, dark in appearance with a good head. Flavor is slightylroasty, creamy and smooth with a balanced level of bitterness. No astringency. A good session beer.

Pours an opaque black with a one finger thick brown/tan head. Nose is chocolate, molasses and malt. Nice and creamy on the palate, the flavor is full of dark roasted malt with touches of chicory and nuts. Hop profile is light but helps with a crisp aftertaste. Overall, a very good beer, but not quite a great beer. Pairs well with pretzels and stone ground mustard.

Malt has toasty cereal aroma. Black appearance. Thin tan head. Bitter to sweet finish. Full body.
