The Amberest Ale in All The Land! Or not. I don’t know. Its a pretty typical amber ale, though. You know what you’re getting - Caramel, toffee, mildly hoppy finish. Nothing wrong with it. arn8897 (449) - Trenton, Ohio, USA - NOV 8, 2016
Pours a cloudy amber color with a khaki head of small tight bubbles. Aromas of malt and some caramel. Taste the same with a little hop bitterness. Nice bitterness at the finish. Not bad but nothing special. Light palate with little to no lacing in the glass. nearbeer (5636) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - OCT 20, 2016
12 oz. bottle pours a hazy copper-brown with a quarter-inch of beady bubbles. Nose is dark, rich toffee with bits of espresso, orange and dry cocoa. Tastes of cocoa, orange flesh, earthy caramel apple, toasted pecan and a finish of light citrus zest. Long finish has some prune and tobacco to provide some dryness. Near-medium body has medium carbonation. Has a Scottish Ale fruit and earthy malt tendency that leans sweet, but overall pretty drinkable. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 5, 2016
Pours a nice dark orange. Aromas of caramel, hint of fruit and hops. Nice malt taste with a nice hop bitterness. Cybercat (6213) - Georgia, USA - APR 28, 2016
Pours clear sepia with a fairly thick and frothy pale buff head. Aroma is not strong, but offers up a little malt and hops. Flavor presents bold, woody hops accompanied by toasty malt and subtle caramel and fruit notes. Firm body has good fizz and body, leaving a fruity and woody finish. A good beer for what was a good year - for some, anyway.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Jabah (550) - Bethesda, Maryland, USA - OCT 28, 2015
A fairly gentle pour still raised a generous tan head over a hazy, dark amber body; Nice patterned lacing is left on the glass.
Aroma: English hops. Moderately strong.
Flavor: better than the aroma with nearly as much contribution from the malts as from the hops. Mild hop bitterness.
Feel - medium body and medium carbonation
Overall: hoppy and earthy for style.
This is a solid all-around beer for the style. Maltier than the typical amber.....reminds me sort of a Biere de Garde. I was getting some light chocolate notes to go with the caramel, but deScription says toffee and roasted walnut, which corresponds to the flavors. Has a cloudy medium amber to brown appearance. Mildly hopped to balance out the sweetness. Only sampled a single, but this is one that I could go for a 6-pack. jw0406 (1308) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 16, 2015
12 oz bottle pours an amber color with a nice white head. Aromas of sweet malt, caramel, light hops. Medium bodied, nicely balanced, nice. ljstephenson (250) - Enterprise, Alabama, USA - AUG 13, 2015
Bright brown pour with a moderate tan head. Aroma is slight malt tones, not a strong aroma. Flavor is strong hop bitterness up front, more malt favors after initial taste. Finishes slightly bitter but enough malt to satisfy the amber enthusiast.
