Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a golden orange sort of color with a finger’s worth of light foamy head that fell off at an easy pace. Sliding lace.
The aroma had some caramel malts up front coating some citrusy and floral hops. Light toast and then a light hay quality at the very end.
The flavor took the previously mentioned aromas to move from sweet to bitter on the ebb and flow differing sort of separated taste. Came in waves (the sometimes bitter, sometimes sweet) sort of leveled out behavior. Rugged malty sort of aftertaste followed into the finish.
The feel was about medium bodied, somewhat under with a fairly smooth old school sort of absorbent malty quality. ABV felt fine.
Overall, I didn’t mind this one for me, but in this day and age, well, Great Baraboo is going to have to change with the changing beer crowd. jtw (1170) - farmington, Michigan, USA - JUL 24, 2013
it’s an IPA from a brewpub that has no inspiration. i appreciate that it’s fresh and locally made, but unremarkable and the only place i would drink it is here. same thing to be said about all their beers... Mittenator (1612) - Michigan, USA - FEB 25, 2013
Sample at 2013 MBG Winter Beer Festival. Fairly bland hoppyness. Little carbonation. Tmoney99 (15138) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 20, 2012
Draft. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate floral hop and small malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. dmschefke (583) - Macomb, Michigan, USA - AUG 7, 2009
Tap at brewery. Pours a pale ever so slightly amber orange with a thick white head, lots of lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, slight floral, caramel, pine, and a bit of grass. Flavor matches well and makes for a nice hoppy pale ale that leaves a nice hoppy bitterness in the mouth afterward. Very solid.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated orange colored body and an excellent lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again. hotstuff (5282) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 20, 2008

Nose was hoppy, caramel notes, citrus, fruity, and floral.Flavor was hoppy, citrus, fruity, floral, light caramel, and semi-crisp.Smooth mouthfeel and light in body.Quaffable, easy drinking, dominate hop flavor and aroma.Decent for the style.
