Poured a clear reddish brownwith a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of brown sugar, carmel, cinnamon and light dark fruit. Palate was light bodied and smooth. A very, very nice dopplebock here. One of the standout beers on my beer trip in the Sierra Nevada area. Aroma is melted carmels, molasses, light tangerine, and toffee. An assertive malt profile with loads of caramel, maple, light coffeeand raisins.
