Aroma is lightly roasty malts and a tad of caramel, not much else. Taste is pretty smooth toasted malts with a touch of creaminess. Light bland hops in transition. Pretty easy drinker. Appearance is a clear amber with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well. bhensonb (15965) - Woodland, California, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Bottle from Dart at Stateline. Pours rather copper with a slight beigeish head. Aroma is a bit meh. Arguably it’s malt. Near med body. Flavor is not so meh as the aroma, and the malt tries to be an alt - maybe it’s getting there. But all the ingredients don’t coalesce well for me. Finishes with a slight unpleasant flavor, but it’s drinkable, and arguably fits the style. jksipa (1034) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 9, 2015
