Can, pours dark with a lot of tan head. Not much aroma, but some roasted notes there with some coconut. Smooth taste; coconut is present but not overwhelming. Overall pleasant, but flavor and aroma could use more punch. CpyNPrnT (620) - Indiana, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Aroma of chocolate. Taste is chocolate with a little touch of coconut. Not much, but enough to throw off the chocolate. Worth a try. RobertDale (6650) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - APR 29, 2014
16 ounce can. Pours almost black with a nice tan head. Aroma of malt, chocolate, and coconut. Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, coconut, and some coffee. Very nice. Enjoyed the coconut added. Thanks Keith! Patrickctenchi (6661) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - APR 15, 2014
Nearly black...rubied...with a chunky. light tan head.
Roast chocolate and coconut husk aroma.
Taste is creamy, dark chocolate malt...coconut milk.
Really enjoyed the light vs. dark feel and taste in this one...
Wonderful. drsordr (2776) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2013
Can pour opaque black. Nose roast, and chocolate. Taste roast, bitter chocolate, char, and malt. Roasty finish with just a hint of coconut in the aftertaste.

I think the base beer isn't very good, the coconut didn't help. Reminds me of crappy home brew.

Can from stfun. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma is slight coconut with roasted malts. Flavor is a nice porter with coconut leaking through. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JAN 5, 2013
Can. Strong and odd roasty metallic aroma as well as a bit of chocolate. Black with a large, quickly dissipating tan head. There’s that odd metallic flavor, just as in the nose. Also some roasty chocolate. I didn’t really taste or smell anything like coconut. Medium body, light carbonation. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - DEC 7, 2012
Had as part of the "flight" sampler at the Brewriver GastroPub, and this one was immediately grabbed by my girlfriend after and my initial tase... this is a wonderful, malty and hoppy beer, dark and rich. Travlr (25500) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - NOV 19, 2012
Draft. Black, brown head, solid curtain of lacing. Aroma is big and roasty. Nice creamy mouthfeel, tons of coffee grounds and bitter cocoa.
