stangger (619) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2011
On tap at the downton madison location. On nitro - kinda weird. Light aroma of floral hops. This is a very light-bodied, light tasting lager. Very watery with almost no discernible flavor. The nitro really blows this up. Mild yeasty flavor, slight hop bitterness at the end. Cool sounding and that’s it.

cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - FEB 9, 2011
On nitro at new East side location, pours a reddish brown with a decent head and stickly lacing through the entire glass, aroma of sweet malt with some earthiness and a decent hop kick, the flavor is decent with the malt and a hop presence, not terrible.

arkurzynski (2427) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 15, 2010
Nitro tap at the DT location. Pale amber. Mostly caramel malts. Relatively thin body. Fairly hoppy for a lager. Probably not the best choice for nitro tap - gave beer an overly creamy mouthfeel that doesn’t fit the style well.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2009
(Draught) Pours a clear amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Aroma of earth, nuts, and caramel. Flavor of grass, biscuit, light pine, and earth with mild bitterness in the finish.

noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2009
Pours a copper color falling somewhat short of amber, with a dense, creamy white head that leaves a generous lace. Aroma is faint, and what’s there is off-putting, sharp and oxidized. Flavor is better, dominated by a heavy hops bill, floral, lemon, bits of grapefruit. Only light malts, pronounced vegetable finish. Medium bodied.

Skyview (6055) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2008
Sampled on draught at the downtown Madison, Wisconsin brewpub. Pours clear dark mahogany colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of caramel malt, some floral and citrus zest hops, a touch of green vegetables and a hint of toffee. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonated with flavors or caramel malt, some floral hops and a touch of vegetable. Finish is smooth with a mild caramel and floral hop aftertaste.

3.2
Narnad (1521) - Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2008
Poured from the growler a very red-brown in color with a small thin white head. Aroma is a very earthy hoppiness with a bit of a sweet caramel malt scent. The hoppy earthy flavor hits the tongue first and is followed by a sweet caramel malt flavor. Slight bread taste to it as well. Overall an okay beer.

phishpond417 (2088) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 4, 2008
Pours an attractive deep reddish brown coloured body with a small white head. A nice, prevalent moderately hopped mouthfeel. It has aromas of oak, earth and licorice. Flavors of caramel, ripe apples and cinnamon.

3.3
DietPepsican (1591) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - MAR 20, 2008
pours red with a thick white hear. Mild hop and malt aroma. Flavor is hoppy, everything beyond that tastes similar to a celery stick dunked in a margarita, not in a bad way. Finished creamy and smooth. This was very interesting.

3.2
gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2008
Had this one on draught as part of a four-sampler at the brewpub in Madison, Wisconsin. Clear, dark copper pour with a thick, foamy off-white head, a light malty nose, mild and balanced, smooth but not much going on with this one.
