COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The full flavor of American ascade hops pours out at you from every angle, the result of adding hops 5 different times to the brew, including "dry-hopping". An underlying, rich malt flavor supports the crisp and floral hop bitterness to produce a thirst-quenching, flavorful brew.

On tap at the downtown brewery: Pours a cloudy rich golden, nicer than i expected. Aroma is a muted light hops, a bit of floral bouquet. Nice feel to the brew, it has more heft than i was expecting, once again. Floral hop, hints of citrus, and a very light maltiness on the backside. Nice brew overall

On tap at the downtown location in Madison, WI. Pours a hazy, dark golden with just a ring of head around the outside. Aroma is of citrusy hops, grapefruit, lightly toasted malts and carmel. Flavor is similar, but with hops on the front and light, sweet malt on the rear. Good, but did not blow me away.

Draft at Great Dane Downtown. Pours a reasonable clear copper with offwhite head. Nose is biscuity and citrusy, some grassy notes and caramel. On taste, the C-hops really come through, as does a biscuity bready note in the background. Floral and fresh, very drinkable. Nice.

Draught. Foamy, soapy off-white head. Aroma is dank, grassy and spicy. Floral hops, fairly mild, smooth and medium bodied.

This is your basic pale ale. Very solid beer. Some citrusy hops combined with a good caramel and bready malt background. Good for a Mallards game, which is where I had this.

noncaloric (684) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 20, 2008
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2009 Clear dark amber pour, off-white head, abundant citric hops in the aroma. Flavor is more hops, but the malts come off bready, and slightly stale at that.

On draught at the downtown brewpub location in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a decent off-white head that has some nice retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of mostly citrus zest, golden grain and caramel malts, and a touch of floral spice. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, citrus and grassy hops, a touch of pine and mild herbs. Finish has a nice tart citrus aftertaste that lingers after the finish.

Amber color with a nice off white head. Tons of hops including dry hopped effects. Floral, tart but balanced, flat out good.
