On tap at the Great Dane, Madison. Poured clear, bright light golden with a splotchy cap of white head. Nose was of sweet fruits and corn, with some wet hay and more veggies... blech. Sweet pils malts and sour banana at the flavor core.. alcohol should not have been present at the back end of this lighter brew. Highly-carbonated with sharp alcohol notes and ugly veggies. I hope this was just a bad batch. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2007
On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a clear light golden with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma is mostly earthy Saaz hops with a touch of pale malty grain. Body starts faintly sweet and smooth with a light earthy hoppy balance and fizzy carbonation. An ok pils, but not really my favorite style. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2009
Tap @ Great Dane. Pours a clear very pale yellow body with a wispy white head. A little DMS on the nose with very light hops, a little bit of Saaz maybe. The flavor is pretty clean and crisp with nice sharp finish despite the minimal bitterness. Light bready pils maltiness. Light bodied and easy drinking with moderate fizzy carbonation. Pretty decent, above average for a brewpub German Pils. blutt59 (6564) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 15, 2010
On tap, golden clear color with no foam, dry fruity aromas, dry bitter lemon,
light fruit, weak finish RobertDale (6470) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - OCT 24, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Comes a clear light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of malt, grain, and grass. Taste is malt, grain, grass, and florals. Decent enough.

Draft at the downtown brewpub. Sample. Super thin green yellow. Soapy head. I detect some buttery, off flavors. Soft, pleasant body. The off flavors really kill this one for me. Buttery, infected, whatever. JPDIPSO (6223) - Wauwatosa, USA - SEP 24, 2002
Brilliant light straw color with a moderate white head. Noble hops aroma. Sweet hops flavor with a nice malt balance. A bit thin in body. Finish is a bit "stingy" with sharp hops. A decent domestic german pils. Skyview (6021) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAY 19, 2008
Served on draught at the Wisconsin Micro-brewers Beerfest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a clear straw blonde colored brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of crystal grain malt, some corn grits, with a touch of grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, a little gritty in texture with flavors of a light multi-grain crystal malt, grassy hops and a touch of white pepper. Finish is a little gritty, some grassy hop character aftertaste that quickly disappears to a crisp finish. heemer77 (5357) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - MAY 25, 2005
Light gold color with a grassy smell and some dark bread. The taste is full with subtle celery and black pepper spice. There is also some bread crust. This package comes together nicely. This is probably the best lager I ever had at a brewpub. badgerben (5171) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 7, 2002
It was a bit too pale, and has a heavy carbonation. I don’t think beer should bubble like a Coke.
