It was a bit too pale, and has a heavy carbonation. I don’t think beer should bubble like a Coke. Bockyhorsey (2628) - Mesa, Arizona, USA - OCT 20, 2005
Sample at pub. Corn aroma. Yellow body with white head. Bitter flavor and that kind gave me a bitter beer face. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 23, 2007
On tap at the Great Dane Brew Pub (Downtown Madison Location). Poured a lighter and clear yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas and tastes of grassiness and some spices. Tastes, as was the body, thin and on the watery side. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 14, 2009
(Draught) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grain, lemon, and light grass. Flavor of grass, lemon, earth, and grain with mild bitterness in the finish. BVery (10600) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Tap at the brewpub in Wausau. Clear pale golden pour with a smaller spotty white head. Nose is very faint. Crisp palate but just mild cream / grain here. Dull.

I believe this is the beer they referred to as the German pils. Faint Aroma of hay and corn. Pretty disappointing standard lager here. Inoffensive but uninteresting, to say the least. nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 4, 2010
Draft at the downtown brewpub. Sample. Super thin green yellow. Soapy head. I detect some buttery, off flavors. Soft, pleasant body. The off flavors really kill this one for me. Buttery, infected, whatever. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - OCT 8, 2012

On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a clear light golden with a thin, spotty-lacing white head. Aroma is mostly earthy Saaz hops with a touch of pale malty grain. Body starts faintly sweet and smooth with a light earthy hoppy balance and fizzy carbonation. An ok pils, but not really my favorite style. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 11, 2008
Straw yellow with no head. Light corn nose with some grassy hops and sweet malts. Taste of mild corn and perfumed sweet malts. A little sour and chalky with a bitter finish.
