Based on our most award-winning beer, Denver Pale Ale, this copper-hued treat is a celebration of everything Great Divide does best. Plenty of malty sweetness provides a backdrop for earthy, floral English and American hops, while French and American oak round off the edges and provide a touch of vanilla. Thanks to everyone who’s supported us for the last 15 years - here’s to 15 more!

Pours a pretty cloudy copper/orange color body with a 2 finger thick fluffy off-white head. After sitting for a few minutes, the head drops only a little bit leaving a sticky residue. The aroma is a sweet earthy blend of brown sugar, vanilla, carmel, oranges, and mildew with some alcohol peeking through. The flavor starts of a little soapy with some vanilla and maple notes followed by a quick shot of spiced rum that dries out fast leaving a moldy wood and cigar finish with some mild citrus undertones.

Bottle, shared @ Potjepalooza. one side of the table gets a clear brown/copper version, the other side got a hazy version with a lot of floaties and a brown head. aroma of caramel, sweet, raisins, caramel, toffee, barley wine-ish. Taste of caramel, aceton, band-aid-ish, old alcoholic, a bit over the top, pretty sweet.

Draft Half Pint at White Horse, Parsons Green, London in Aug 2010 - 16th Anniversary Edition: 2010 - Copper in colour. Very Hoppy; earthy, floral and oily resinous piney hops. Fruity; citrus grapefruit, tangerines, tropical fruit. Malty; toasty malts, caramel, toffee, lots and lots of oak, vanilla. Great hop/fruit/malt balance. Sweet toasty caramel malts balanced by resinous hops, all smoothed out by the oak and vanilla. Smooth, rich, complex. Terrific 2IPA! (2010-08)
