Tap @ Star Bar. Black appearance with a small, dark brown head. Thick candy sugar, dark fruity, plum, raisin, strong boozy whiskey, harsh aroma. Flavor is almost unbearable. It’s simultaneously extremely cloying and overly boozy. Super thick and sweet candy sugar, dark fruity, rich, very boozy whiskey, light caramel, fig, plum flavor. Abrasive, boozy finish. On tap at Star Bar during Denver Off The Wagon’s anniversary party. Black with a smallish tan head. Out-stupid-standing aroma of whiskey tinged cookie dough, some dark chocolate, brown sugar, and a little raisin. Taste is dark and chocolaty with a brown sugar tone, vanilla, whiskey tinged oak, and a sweet caramelly raisin tone, and a slight chocolaty coffee finish with a lot of sweet raisins or figs. Finishes with a calm boozy oak vanilla.
