Bottle. Pours a dark, cloudy amber color. Aroma is sweet with caramel, vanilla, and bourbon. This smells amazing. Taste follows the nose with vanilla, bourbon, caramel, and dark fruits coming through. Not too much bourbon in this one, its there, but not dominating or too "hot". Very good and would love to try this again.

Cellared bottle from March 27, 2015. Pours murky brown, thick white head. Aroma is faint toffee, berry, faint cocoa, oak and light whiskey. Taste is vanilla, toffee, rich berry, cocoa, faintly bitter. A bit acidic, not sure if this is due to it being an aged beer. Not bad, but hard to finish my glass. Just a bit over the top for me.

750ml bottle ([email protected]) (7:4:7+:4:14+=3.6++)
Nice toffee aroma. Taste is sweet and raisiny, sweet but not sickly palate. Nice bourbon balance,warming, but not boozy. Good bitter finish. Woody aspects also please. A difficult formula to impress me with, but they got everything just about right here. I’d probably prefer a slightly cranked down one.

Bottle from Brewtopia. Garnet reddish brown with loose head and a little lace. Boozy alcohol aroma at first, then escapes to leave toasted caramel ripe cherry woody whiskey aroma. Toasted caramel maple syrup brown sugar sweetness with woody leafy piney bitterness and long boozy finish. Full body and low carbo. A little overwhelming but I’m gonna sip this baby and make it last.
