Pale yellow color. Candy sugar nose. Really tart, and needs more sweetness to fulfill its promise of being a "honey" beer. I think there's apricot in here.

good straw color medium sized foamy white head with a mild amount of staying power.Malty aroma with a mild amount of hops, and maybe even a slight honey aroma as well. The taste is very different malty beginning with a slight citrus tone to it with the honey coming in,in the middle of the taste.kind of sweet but in a mild sort of way.i guess i was looking for more of a honey burst from this brew but it just isn't there, like the SueBee honey is.An ok brew but definately needs more honey to get me going.

I finally cultivated a taste for fruit beers, but I can't say the same about beers with honey in them. How high can you rate a style that you just don't like?

Golden color with strong notes of honey. Not alot of body to this but its more of a summer drink. It was nothing to write home about

Acidic and unsatisfying. Grainy overall with no real character to help quench this thirst besides the fact that it is a liquid.

Very refreshing "hot weather" beer. Very subtle taste of honey with some citrus notes makes it really good. Not a complex beer, but still quite good.

clvand0 (350) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - MAY 4, 2003
This beer pours a very orange color with a minimal head and minimal lacing. The aroma was full of citrus - I couldn't detect much more. The flavor was surprisingly smooth and enjoyable. There was a lot of citrus and hints of honey in the flavor. This beer doesn't have a ton of character, but it was very smooth and I would have another. The aftertaste wasn't as great as the initial flavor, but it still wasn't bad at all.

Aubrey (3516) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - MAY 2, 2003
Fluffy head above a hazy yellow-gold. Big, flaky floaties swirl about. Sweet-smelling, fresh honey nose. Mouthfeel is chewy-soft, milky, creamy and syrupy. Honey sweetness surfaces here and there, nicely complemented by a mild hop bitterness. Carbonation is soft up front, but becomes crisper toward the end of the sip. Finish is bitter and dryish with a bread-like, honey aroma. Great honey flavors, but a little boring otherwise.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2005 Rerate Aroma not quite as sweet, and the appearance did not exactly bowl me over. Overall decent. Original 3.5 Very refreshing. Sweet aroma of honey comes through after settling. Cloudy orange appearance, slight, white head with little lacing. Flavor is sweet with a detection of citrus hoppiness in the background. Overall, a good summer refersher.

2.5
hoorayforbeer (105) - Denton, Texas, USA - FEB 3, 2003
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2003 Pale yellow with large white head. Smells lightly of honey and hops. Somewhat bland taste, but at least the honey sweetness isn't overwhelming.
