4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Nice chocolate and roast aroma, with a touch of cream in the back end. Pours an opaque black, with a thick dark tan head. The flavor is vanilla and cocoa, with a touch of alcohol burn. Thick and oily on the palate, don’t know if I’d be going towards this in the summer, but quite tasty on an autumn evening.
Bottle. Black with medium brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, dark chocolate, sweet, chilli, slight chilli burn, hop and medium bitter. Sigmund (7648) - Tau, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2017

Bottle thanks to bursprak. Pours black with a dark brown head. Aroma is pretty earthy with notes of chocolate, slight smoke, old sweet Malts and butterscotch. Pretty obvious that this is past its prime. Taste of roasted malts, dark chocolate, slight spice, some oak, earth and milky chocolate. Very old school and a bit past its prime, but this is still pretty solid.
