"Living up to it’s rep as being part of the "rare beer tent" at Stone’s 16th AV party in that I can’t find out squat about this beer, cept it’s a "spiced" tripel. I know it was a bright and vibrant beer. Better than their regular triple, which was good. A soft palate and nice fruit/yeast balance. Draft at brewery poured a hazy gold hue. Yeast is the star of the show, it is dominate in both aroma & taste. Aroma includes citrus and fruity malts. Flavor is spicy, fruity malt w/ a mild hope bite and nice dry finish. arkurzynski (2460) - Combined Locks, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 10, 2012
Draft at the source. Hazy golden in color. A lot of nice yeast action in the aroma with lemon citrus zest, fruity malt and faint cracked pepper. Flavor starts briefly as spicy, fruity malt before caving to a nice dry finish. Clean and well-attenuated. Mild hopping in the finish.
