12floz can, $8/six-pack. Canned on 01.17.2017. Consumed 02.28.2017. I’ve had in bottles a few times prior. Tulip glassware. Cloudy gold color with one-finger head on the pour. Funky sweat nose somehow seems turn more into a banana and cantaloupe hybrid. Medium-full in body and tingles on the tongue as lemon zest and sourdough flavors complete the palate. An adequate Belgian farmhouse style beer for a reasonable. price. Unde (1149) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 22, 2017
Cloudy yellow beer with smallish head on top. Beautiful when light shines through. Aroma has wheat, banana, sweet fruits. Taste is sweet with banana, this is more like hefeweizen than farmhouse ale. Medium to light gunnfryd (15256) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 14, 2017

Almost like a beer salad; a beer fruit salad. Pretty tasty.

12 oz. bottle packaged on October 20, 2016. Here’s another beer I’m surprised I haven’t rated by this point. The pour is slightly hazy with a deep gold, just a little darker than your average saison. A small white head sticks around for a while. Aroma has notes of orange, pepper, clove, and banana. The palate is pretty full and though dry, not as dry as the style can be. Flavors of pineapple, wheat, pepper, and a subtle noble hop balance are found. This grows on me with each sip as usual. The use of rice is pretty smart. I doubt I’d pick it out on my own but it seems to add just a little sweet, grainy character. The finish is citrusy and the pineapple suggestions mount. Definitely a competent saison. It’s not as aggressively dry or phenolic as some of its contemporaries.
