COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our homage to the beers that have quenched the thirst of Belgian farm workers for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, Saison is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treatsa beer as refreshing as it is complex. 7.3% ABV.

It pours a golden color with some hazing. It has a large, pillow head with minimal lacing. It has aromas of citrus fruit spices, a bit of floral, yeast, and a hint of lemon. It has initial citrus flavors with lemon, tart sensation after the first tastes, earthly elements, and some hints of salt. It is highly carbonated, has a light moderate feel, and a dry finish.

bottle @ Jungle Jims / Eastgate OH --- Cloudy dirty light amber color, fluffy white head, clouds of lace. Taste is semi-sweet malt that adds a burst of carbonation in the swallow, followed by spice and yeast on the way to a very lightly hopped finish. More a witbier than a saison, but still balanced and interesting. I like it.

Sweet banana aroma, cashew nuts and some herbal spicyness (Coriander?). Malty yeasty taste. More towards malty than hoppy without beeing too sweet. Some saltiness as well which probably help balance the sweetness.
