COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our homage to the beers that have quenched the thirst of Belgian farm workers for centuries. Brewed with barley, wheat and rice and fermented at high temperatures with a special blend of four different yeast strains, Saison is fruity and slightly tart, with a dry finish that makes it that rarest of treatsa beer as refreshing as it is complex. 7.3% ABV.

May 31st, 2011 - When Spring turns into Summer and the sun gets to be a little heavier in the sky, the fun and heady wheat beers of a month ago lose some of their potency. Something drier, with a heavier grain profile becomes a more suitable beer for cutting the sweat and anguish of an oppressive day. The Colette is a perfect fit for these transitional days, beautiful and burning bright with a dandelion yellow hue and a finger of soft, white foam. Banana and clove and a little corn tortilla rise from the surface, giving off light but coating smells. Fresh and full of grains, Great Divide did an excellent job of capturing the smell of the fields and putting that romantic image into a bottle. Full bodied and busy with a sharp and serrated aftertaste, the Colette can cut through dry mouth or thirst, with ample uplifting alcoholic corn and tortilla and flowery dandelion tastes, like bitter mizuna greens, a subtle vegetable bitterness and again, flowing dry graininess.

Pale straw in color which was lighter than I expected or hoped. Good dryness for the style and was a little malty with a mid-bitter finish.

UPDATED: APR 8, 2017 Bottle at Favela, Helsinki. Pours hazy amber with medium-sized white head. The aroma contains hayish maltiness, citrusy fruitiness and some spiciness. Taste is dryish, crisp and tart and quite rich in both fruits and yeast. Medium levels in hop bitterness. Flavours of orange, zest, herbs and lemon. The palate is medium-bodied, average to lively in carbonation. Very refreshing.

Almost clear golden color with off-white head. Aroma has farmhouse yeast notes, flowers and some sweet citrus notes. Taste is quite weird. It starts sweet and floral but continues with some dirty rags and dishwater. Light body, medium plus carbonation. The taste of this beers is quite unpleasant, what a shame.

A murky, light yellow beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness, lemon and lemon peel, spicyness and some bananas. Balanced and traditional. Taste has mix fruitness, some nice spicyness, fresh. Medium bodied, high carbonation. This beer is great as usually from Gread Divide. Refreshning and high-quality.

12floz can, $8/six-pack. Canned on 01.17.2017. Consumed 02.28.2017. Ive had in bottles a few times prior. Tulip glassware. Cloudy gold color with one-finger head on the pour. Funky sweat nose somehow seems turn more into a banana and cantaloupe hybrid. Medium-full in body and tingles on the tongue as lemon zest and sourdough flavors complete the palate. An adequate Belgian farmhouse style beer for a reasonable. price.

Cloudy yellow beer with smallish head on top. Beautiful when light shines through. Aroma has wheat, banana, sweet fruits. Taste is sweet with banana, this is more like hefeweizen than farmhouse ale. Medium to light

Almost like a beer salad; a beer fruit salad. Pretty tasty. (I cant detect, however, the rice.) But, again and overall, tasty powerful.
