Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Grassy, floral, hoppy, earthy aromas. Bread, bitter, hoppy, grassy flavors. Somewhat boring pale ale. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - NOV 18, 2013
10/14/2010. On tap at the brewery. Amber color with a white head. Aromas of fresh hops, malt, caramel and pine. Fruity flavors with a good hop bitterness towards the end. ads135 (5235) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 12, 2013
More powerful than I would’ve expected from an English style, but coming from Great Divide, it makes more sense. Malty body, lots of bread and caramel. Nice hoppy beginning. brokensail (16696) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 11, 2013
On tap @ Great Divide. Golden orange pour with a white head. Floral hops, orange, and a bready malt nose. Sort of doughy, a bit of caramel, and earth. Flavor is big on the dough sweetness. Biscuit, caramel, bread, and toast. Some grass, earth, and a hint of orange.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden beer with a thin white head. Aroma is faint, grainy. Flavour has some sweet touches of malt and touches of sweet spices. Bit of a herbal finish. Short aftertaste, bit yeasty. Decent brew. jmgreenuk (10528) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - OCT 10, 2013
Tap at Great Divide, Denver. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is weak malt leading to a medium bitter flavour and a malt liqourice dry spice hop palate. kermis (15161) - The Hague / Amsterdam / Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Pours clear dark golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, bread and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation. AleFart (15) - North Carolina, USA - SEP 25, 2013
A fine example of a great English style ale. Perfect blend of hops and malt with the quintessential steely hard water taste and aroma.
