UPDATED: JUL 27, 2013 Pours a bright orange. The flavor is missing the punch of normal IPAs and suffers because of it. The aroma is negligible. This is a soon to be forgotten IPA.

Although sweetness is relatively restrained, hints of honey and orange blossom complement hops and yeast to deliver complexity even if intensity is a bit lacking.

On tap at Hillbilly Po Boy’s. Pours a clear rich gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma is mainly musty sweet grains with a hint of grassy hops. Flavor has stronger musty grass hops that combine with notes of straw and grains.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle part of a summer variety pack. Poured clear, golden in color with a small white head that left pretty nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of malts, grass and slight citrusy/floral hops notes. Taste is sweet, kind of malty with a slight bitterness towards the end. Nice refreshing beer, very drinkable.

On tap at Avery, 061113. Golden/amber with a white head. Aroma has newly cut grass, floral and fruity hops, light earthy notes (mushroom-like) and light grain. Smooth and medium malt sweetness with a grassy bitter finish.

Bottle poured a clear light copper hue w/ a big white head mostly diminishing and some nice lacing. Big fruity flowery aromas along with malty grains. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a moderate bitterness of lasting finish. Tastes are pine, resin, orange, bread, and straw. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, metallic feel.

12oz served into a Great Divide Pint glass. A - Hazy golden amber body with a massive cream colored head that creates rocky mounds. Giant chunks of swollen lacing left behind. The head never really goes away. S - Dry nutty yeast, pecans, grassy and floral hops, sweet malts. T - Woody and earthy barley first off. Some rustic toffee malt, yeasty, minty hop bitterness, pecan skins really come through and and dry out the palate. M - Moderate carbonation, light bodied, slightly creamy I don’t know what it is bout this beer but I always love kicking this one back. It has a distinct flavor that seems to stand out from the rest. Serving type: bottle 05-03-2012
