Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. Step 3 bottled 10/19/2011. Pours the similar jet black with tan head... Thin one leaves lacing. Nose has chocolate and a tad more roast than the other two. The silky smooth body give hints of chocolate with coffe grinds on the edge. Oak adds a tad of sweetness. Yes, this is the best of the lot.

Pachnie ładnie, kawa, czekolada, pralinki i subtelne, zupełnie nie przeszkadzające alko. W smaku mocno wytrawne, ale to żadne zaskoczenie, po wcześniejszych przygodach z innym Yeti. Generalnie określiłbym to jako mocno palone espresso idące w kierunku dojrzałego orzecha włoskiego.

650ml bottle from Elizabeth Station. Bottled on 2017-03-17 (on St. Patrick day, yeeey!). Pours a very dark brown with the same head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is similar, very roasty with coffee notes. Good stuff, but too roasty.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2017 On tap at P? Kornet, Stavanger. Pours black with big brown head. Aroma of medicine, medicine, medicine, whisky, wood, coffee, chocolate. Tastes sweet with very bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel.

22oz bottle. Black with a thick foamy brown head. Flavors are espresso, chocolate, brown sugar, ashes, caramel, resinous hops and alcohol with herbal, fruity and spicy notes. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture.
