COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

Pros: The guys that make it are super cool.

Cons: Doesn’t have a lot of richness to it. Seems lifeless to me....tastes dead due to the lack of natural carbonation. No layers. The espresso element isn’t very bold, lacks intensity. Thin bodied. I’m liking oak chips less and less. A lot to dislike here for me.

Fra flaske 355ml kjøpt på Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Svart. Høyt mørkebrunt luftig skum som varer lenge. Litt lacing. Nydelig aroma av sjokolade. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken sjokolade, lakris & nøtter. Tørr avslutning. Toppøl!

Prawie czarne nieprzezroczyste piwo z piękną beżową pianą. Aromat głównie kawa, trochę palonego słodu i chmielu. W smaku kawa, potem gorzka czekolada i chmiel. Finisz wytrawny. Mało zaznaczona beczka, trochę można wyczuć wanilii. Całość bardzo dobra

650 ml bottle, shared by Sander, many thanks. nearly black with brown head (quickly diminishing). coffee, sark chocolate, woody, smoke, hazelnuts, tobacco, really roasty. medium to full body with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel; light hoppy bitterness and medium roasty bitterness (which is quite lasting); soft sweetness. Aromas are well balanced. Excellent beer!.

PowY (1037) - AUSTRIA - OCT 20, 2017
650 ml bottle, shared by Sander, many thanks. Pours a nearly black with a quickly disappearing light brown head. The aroma is full with coffee, mocha along with notes of hazelnuts and tobacco. Medium-full, creamy body with a low carbonation, a light to medium sweetness and a medium, lasting bitterness. The flavor is again full with loads of coffee and chocolate, some burnt notes, nuts. Finishes bitter roasty with coffee, some woody notes and maybe hints of herbal hops. Pretty roasty and coffee forward but balanced a t the same time, with a very reluctant sweetness. Excellent!

From a bomber, bottled 3/15/17. Pours an opaque dark reddish-brown with little head. Thick, rich coffee stink on the palate, with a bitter finish. Delicious!

650 ml bottle, Feb 10 2016, shared by Sander, thanks!
Black body, with a medium, dense, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of coffee beans, espresso, dark chocolate, toast, tobacco, some smoke.
Tastes similar, with more liquorice, some smoke, some dark fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty-bitter, wooden, with lots of coffee again, cocoa powder, tobacco, liquorice.

Really tasty. Lots of lovely, distinctive coffee and overall more on the roasty-bitter side, while really well balanced. Enjoyed the regular version a bit more maybe, while this is a great example of a Coffee Stout.

On a bottle from systembolaget, shared with my son. Black, thick, well balanced. The nose is moderate. Long, sweetish aftertaste with roasted malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
