Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 On tap @ Super Deli Mart. Pours deep inky brown with thick dark mocha head that barely settles. Aroma is roasty malts, dark chocolate, and some old wood. Taste is rich charred malts, cocoa, coffee, and some tart hop notes - unique for a Imperial Stout. Smooth, creamy, and notably bitter but not harsh on the finish. The espresso melds with all the other flavors so well it’s a bit hard to pick out initially but shows in the bitter finish. Alcohol is totally deceptive on this, you don’t even notice it. Would love to vertical all the Yeti versions next to each other. Best I can tell this is slightly more complex than the chocolate version. Obviously drinkable fresh but could be amazing if you have the patience to cellar this.

From a bomber, bottled 3/15/17. Pours an opaque dark reddish-brown with little head. Thick, rich coffee stink on the palate, with a bitter finish. Delicious!

650 ml bottle, Feb 10 2016.
Black body, with a medium, dense, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of coffee beans, espresso, dark chocolate, toast, tobacco, some smoke.
Tastes similar, with more liquorice, some smoke, some dark fruits.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes dry, roasty-bitter, wooden, with lots of coffee again, cocoa powder, tobacco, liquorice.

Really tasty. Lots of lovely, distinctive coffee and overall more on the roasty-bitter side, while really well balanced. Preferred the regular a bit more maybe, while this is a great example of a Coffee Stout.

Backlog, niezły Ris. Fajny aromat kawowy, czuć słodycz. W smaku mocno wytrawne, słodycz znikoma. Niezłe piwo

On a bottle from systembolaget, shared with my son. Black, thick, well balanced. The nose is moderate. Long, sweetish aftertaste with roasted malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle poured at home with a bottling date of March 16, 2017. Deep roasty aroma and coffee flavor. Very nice carbonation and mouth feel for a 9.5% beer. Perfect for a 59 degree late September night

Bottle during HF tick fest; opaque dark brown pour with a bubbly dark tan head, aroma has strong coffee and chocolate, taste has light vanilla, sweet milk chocolate, decent coffee.

Really good Stout. Starts with a strong espresso flavor and ends fairly smooth. Overall a good Stout, but the finish had a little bitterness. Not much, but too much to be in the same class as other top tier stouts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650ml bottle from Elizabeth Station. Bottled on 2017-03-17 (on St. Patrick day, yeeey!). Pours a very dark brown with the same head. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is similar, very roasty with coffee notes. Good stuff, but too roasty.
