COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Bottle. Copper with a thick off white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma is like the bottle says: grassy and bright. Also features some citrus and caramel malt notes. Taste is grassy and citrusy but malt seems breadier than in the nose. Slight metallic twinge. Palate is full body and prickly carb, disappears quickly from the mouth. Has potential but a little off.

Bomber pour. Orange amber color with a light white head. The aroma is of wet hop, quite mild. The taste is smooth and hoppy; not very full bodied, finishes dry. Overall the beer is quite hoppy, but manageable.

draft at JK O’Donnell’s in Fort Wayne - as good, if not better than their Hercules IPA. Fantastic taste from start to finish. Outstanding IPA

Charlie's redondo beach in tap. Pours nice, foamy head, stays with it. Dark golden color, caramel. Not much to aroma, a bit of pine. Easy drinking, nice on the palate. A good but not great beer. Would order it again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2014 Bomber. Orange-brown with a nice white head. Fresh hops and caramel malt. True to style and simple. I’d like to see the hops dialed up even more.Get it fresh or forget it.

Pours a hazy gold copper color with a nice head. Smells of hops, pine, grass, orange and grapefruit. Tastes of piney hops, grass, citrus and grapefruit not overly bitter and balanced out by a toffee malt flavor. Medium body and medium carbonation.

Tap at Pizza Luce. Orange with thick white lacing trailing. Grassy, lemony hops and light malts. Taste is bitter, but reserved. Medium to lighter body. Good pale ale, hoppiness less than expected though.
