Wonderful aroma. Real clean and crisp. Slightly above average for a fresh hop beer jimvy (131) - O’Fallon, Missouri, USA - DEC 20, 2006
Bomber. Pours a deep, clear copper, with a creamy off-white head that last. There are some floaties in the glass (and bottle)...not sure why. Perhaps some yeast. Aroma is a nice mellow hoppiness with some toasty and grassy notes....pleasant. Medium body, some warmth in the finish. Flavor starts with an accertive bitterness, that last into the finish. Intense hop flavor, but the base beer carries it nicely. Some slight sweetness. Overall, a very nice, everyday drinking APA...very enjoyable, and much more flavor and complexity than is usually found in this style. tonypreto (130) - Akron, Ohio, USA - NOV 20, 2014
22 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a beautiful light gold with a one finger head that steadily dissapates. The taste was quite impressive. Very, very fresh hop taste with little bitterness. Impressed, would get again and recommend. loulan (126) - SPAIN - JUL 15, 2011
Golden orange, off white head. Honeyish, grassy, piney aroma. Grassy, piney taste. Nice malt backing. more of an IPA. Nice mouthfeel. Old rating, just added. johntreeter (126) - Greenwood, Indiana, USA - JUL 1, 2008
22oz. bomber at Table Rock. Bought last two bottles in store on sale, so they were a little old I’ll re-rate this fall. Slightly hazy amber copper color with thin off white head that left good lacing. Freshly opened bag of hops aroma. Light flavor of green and citrus hop with light balancing malt inthe background. Light body, soft carb., and dry texture and feel. A really good beer with rough edges that would probably be better in season.

UPDATED: MAR 3, 2008 Dark amber pour with a nice beige...somewhat creamy head. Dry with a nice body. Very grassy/hoppy with a kind of sweet grapefruit taste. I love it! Another quality brew from Great Divide! mcc5468 (122) - USA - FEB 4, 2009
I should have rated last year’s version as I enjoyed that a bit more, but all in all, a good IPA. Hoppy - more on the sweet side this year, it seemed to have less of that IPA crispness. I would say piney hop flavor this year. Again, a nice IPA. I look forward to next year’s edition. DW78715816 (119) - Kansas, USA - DEC 23, 2014
Pours a deep copper color with white head. Aroma is a little bit grassy and hops and a little malt. Taste is a little bit hoppy but really just kind of the standard pale ale. I expected more. It's good but nothing spectacular.

22oz. bottle into lager glass. Pours a clear, dark copper with a light white head that laces nicley. Aroma is heavy on grpaefruit and lemon with a noticable hoppyness. Flavor is of fresh hops, grass and grapefruit with a slight pine finish. Mouthfeel is very smooth and goes down easy. Great APA.
