This is the motherfucker to end all motherfuckers. This is a perfect beer. The best I have ever had. When I drink this, it makes me realize how everything else in the world is just fucked up. Don’t pay your bills...drink this beer. Don’t play with your kids...drink this beer. In fact, relinquish all other responsibilities and drink this beer. Motherfucker. lemasney (398) - Trenton, New Jersey, USA - JUL 18, 2008

Overall: Wow. Great Divide just doesn’t make a bad brew. The floating bittering hops do the job completely. I will most definitely seek this out again. It’s an absolute favorite, and very well crafted. 20 out of 20. jonatanfast (8) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2010 does not count
Stop your search! This is it!
A perfectly balanced american pale ale. Very hoppy yet smoth and fresh.
Orange with a fluffy white head.
Aroma is light grass and citrus.
The Flavor is fantastic. Rich, with big hop at the end.
The only downside is that I only had one. Sir+Drinksalot (34) - Iowa, USA - FEB 3, 2007
UPDATED: JAN 13, 2008 Piney and very earthy hop flavors. Truly one of my favorites. It has become almost impossible to get in Iowa. A fantastic beer hands down! Great Divide Co. has continued to brew unbelievable world-class ales! nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - FEB 8, 2009
Maybe my new fravorite pale ale. Great tasting hops, wonderful aroma, and a very smooth feel in the mouth. Pours with white head. Great brew.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2010 One of the best beers I have tasted in approximately 38 years of drinking beer. (Ok the first 10 years - ages 15-25 were pretty much wasted on crappy beer - I didn’t know better) . This beer, a 1. 5 pint bomber bottled on Sept 29, 2009, was so incredibly delicious that I immediately purchased 2 cases from my local distributor (Pennsylvania has great beer but extremely antiquated beer laws - case only). Imagine the best, most fresh tasting , most hoppy full bodied pale ale you have ever had in your life, and this beer is it. Nirvana, the beer. Full nose decked with tons of hops pine and floral citrus aroma. Appears copper colored brass with some light sut floating about in equilibrium. Thick topping of foam and leaves behind plenty of beautiful lace. The flavor is delicious with a big smack of wet juciy hops that are so moist and fresh it would make Snoop Dogg say sticky icky icky. Damn good harvest ale. Great Divide just blows me away with how good they brew, SanfordBrewer (1600) - Sanford, Florida, USA - DEC 14, 2010
Lucent copper, thin white head, sticky medium-full body, medium carbonation.mnurda (1285) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 16, 2005
Aroma: sweet caramel malt, lots of fresh intense american hops.
Taste: caramel malt, tons of fresh citrusy hops, some bready yeast.
Super hopy but not bitter, actually bitterness and sweetness are fairly balanced.
Wow. What a beer. Hops are the predominant feature. Great tasting. UNreal. Can’t wait to get some more. obguthr (6536) - Staunton, Virginia, USA - JAN 6, 2010
Strawberry and pineapple nose. Shimmering amber with nice streams of carbonation, medium white head, nice lacing. Excellent strawberry and rose hip initial punch, swiftly turning to grapefruit peel and ending grassier but equally as bitter. Fantastic transitions. Alcohol is unnoticeable, but the body is there. This is better than most IPAs, and really too hoppy to be considered an APA. Rated conservatively.
