COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Golden appearance. Has a champagne like mouth feel. Spicey taste. Not really a good Belgian but passable. If it comes in the mix 12 pack it is drinkable given the other 3 brews it comes with are probably off the charts good!

The is a good Belgian. I'm not getting the spice as much as the fruity, malty sweetness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This is a pretty decent belgian style beer. The spicyness is apparent, has some citrus with a nice dry finish.

Very clear golden. Almost as thing looking as the nomad pils. Flavor is slight licorice/anice and generic ale flavor. Not too exciting.

Une bouteille de 12oz bue au Saint-Bock. Hades serait déçu de goûter à un produit aussi simple et surtout sans caractère. Une bière blonde avec des notes de levures. Simple et loin de la prestance qu’un personnage comme Hades mériterait.

Not pleased with this one. Golden color with white foam. Aroma is spicy but more like a light lager than a Belgian. Mouth feel is thin and body is light caramel. Finish is not bad but doesn’t make me want another one.

From 12 oz bottle into a Renegade tulip glass.
Pours a straw gold yellow with small head.
Aroma of straw hops, honey, banana, slight candy cane.
Medium carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of sweet malts, powder sugar, grassy hops, banana, bubblegum, lychee, slight lavender and ginger. Overall flavorful with a significant body, complex yet tasty and refreshing.

Bottled Feb. 2013. This stuff seems to benefit significantly from 6 months in the bottle. Aroma is prominent and fruity. There is almost no color and the beer is extremely clear. The flavor is mostly of yeast with some complexity. It is unusually dry but maintains a roundness bordering on creamy.

Draft sample at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color with a small white head. Aroma of mild spice, dried apricot, sweet and bready malts, and sugar. Flavor of sweet malts, gold raisins, caramel, dried apricot, mild spice, and nectar. Light-medium bodied, with a sweet, dry mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Pleasant, summery Belgian ale.

Appearance: pours a golden color with some faint amber hues, has a small white head that fades quickly and has minimal lacing Aroma: bread, sour, wild, yeast, smells like a saison, very aromatic Taste: sour, alcoholic kick, lemon, wild yeast flavor, some grass hoppiness on the finish, Palate: has an average to slightly above average carbonation, leaves an alcohol aftertaste with some light bitterness too Overall: not what I was expecting but impressive, lots of alcohol flavor, also lots of wild notes, great beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
