Pour on tap at the 15th anniversary party, pour is slightly hazy yellow with white head, aroma has notes of wet grain, vanilla, slight biscuit, ever so slight fruit with some milky yeast notes. Taste is a mix of wet grain, vanilla, bread and biscuit, very slight fruit with some nice yeast at the end that helps save it a bit, but overall not much there. cubs (10677) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 16, 2012
Tap @ Great Divide’s 18th Anniversary Party. Milky yellow appearance with a white head. Big bready, yeasty, lightly spicy, banana, grainy aroma. A bit citrusy, fairly soapy, bready yeasty, light clove flavor. Not horrible, but I have no tolerance for below average German Hefeweizens.
