Bottle shared with HogTownHarry - courtesy of him. Slightly hazy orange-amber colour with a medium sized beige head. BIG, juicy, hoppy aroma with notes of iced tea and blood orange juice. Flavour is solid as hell - bracing hops, some faint sweetness, enough woody malt to stop things from getting too out of control. Yum. nick76 (4404) - Tampa, Florida, USA - FEB 16, 2006
The aroma is very hoppy, piney, and malty. The appearance is a deep amber with a nice foamy head. The flavor is bitter as it should be with pine and caramel malt. The palate is good as is this beer. outerupt (133) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - FEB 12, 2006
22oz. bottle. From the colour to the aroma, the flavor to the finish, this beer screams citrus. Pink grapefruit is the dominant fruit with even a hint of lemon on the nose. The beer was a bit on the dry side, with the malt a little too weak to balance out all the aromatic hops. The overwhelming bitterness on the finish prevents this from being a beer for session drinking. TheBeerOrg (2145) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - FEB 11, 2006
Pours light orange with a foamy tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, bread dough, citrus, and toffee. Taste is citric, resinous grapefruit juice with notes of fruity rum. Mellow spicy alcohol in the murawski (160) - USA - FEB 11, 2006
finish. Mouthfeel is heavy bodied and resinous with medium carbonation. Enjoyable, but nothing to set it apart from every other IIPA hop bomb. If I want hops, I’d rather have an Oskar Blues Gordon or Two Hearted Ale.
Strong citrus/hops/malt aroma; great copper-brown translucent appearance. Strong flavor catches you off-guard at first, but the strong hops is matched with a slight sweet tinge. Smooth, wet palate. High Alcohol % gives it an additional kick. Overall, superb IPA.

Bottle (650ml). Shared with GregClow, my bottle. Poured cloudy orange with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is full-on orange/grapefruit resiny hops with sweet malt backing - juicy, lightly sour, some funky hops in there too. Taste starts orange juice-sweet malt, then the hops begin to build - ripe grapefruit, then grapefruit pith - there’s some woodiness, it’s not really that harshly bitter, but this is really all about the hops (mostly west coast, with some UK-style funkiness in there). Mouthfeel is lightly lively, astringent, decent body - very nice, not all that sophisticated, but a good hop monster. harmless (20) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - FEB 7, 2006
Pours a nice orange color with a white head. Has a strong citrus and pine aroma. Strong hopped flavor. Very tasty. I highly recommend this one. peter (445) - Normal, Illinois, USA - FEB 2, 2006

Lemons and grapefuits blossom on the pine trees.
Drinking from the thin steam.
Citrus reeminds me to mow the lawn.
22oz Bottle, Pours a transperent amber orange with a frothy off white head. Nice lacing as well. Aroma was filled with grapefruit and citrus with a little pine in there. Flavor was packed with grapefruit citrus followed by a buttery malt backbone. Hop bitterness in the finish. Easily Acessible Great brew Indeed Lowe1983 (1647) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JAN 29, 2006
UPDATED: FEB 10, 2006 Pours an amber/orange color with a thick white head. Strong grapefruit aroma. Distinctive citrus flavor with a hoppy aftertaste. The flavor sticks in your mouth for awhile. A very good double IPA
