On Tap from the Outside Bar at the Great Divide Brewing Company, Denver 17/09/2010
Malty aroma. Mid brown coloured hazy in appearance and strong in alcohol with a bitter and dry malt finish. nickd717 (4997) - San Francisco, California, USA - SEP 21, 2010
On tap at the brewery pre-GABF. Very cloudy amber with a one-finger white head. Big, intense rye and caramel on the aroma. Maybe even some wood. On the flavor, wow, this tastes -bal aged. Lots of oak. Besides that, loads of rye and rich caramel and toffee malts. Not too sweet. Full-bodied and syrupy on the palate, yet dry. Low carbonation.
