A clear orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is lovely hoppy combined with some notes of hop oils - surprisingly hoppy for an ESB - I guess it is Cascade. The flavor is ofcourse sweet malty, but really more dominated by hops and hop acids, leaving You with a dry bitter note on the tongue. There are a slight nuttyness also. Jeppe bring more of this home - nice. joergen (28964) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 4, 2005

Bottled. Orange golden colour, huge foamy head. Lovely sweet caramel and honeyish hoppy aroma. Flavour is dry fruits, hops. That’s about it. Slightly light overall. omhper (25560) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2006 [Bottled at Old Eskil Ölkultur, Eskilstuna] Hazy dark amber, rich creamy head. Plenty of caramel, some grass. Medium bodied with clean - too clean - mouthfeel and low-medium bitterness. With it’s laid back hop character it relies heavily on malt character, but hard crystal malt does not provide what I’m looking for in terms of depth.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours amber with a slight haze and a small, white head. Aroma of caramel and overripe fruit. Medium-bodied with plenty of caramel and a bitterness that slowly builds up. Dry finish. 180506 fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2006
Beautiful copper color; giant head, too much… fermentation? Some aroma of hop, light yeast. Malty taste; medium body structure; toffee; very good hop flavor and bitterness. Very good. saxo (19278) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2007
Nice creamy long lasting white head. Color is hazy golden. Aroma is mainly hops. Taste is hoppy with a good hoppy finish. rlgk (18852) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2006
Hazy orange, huge airy head. Hoppy floral aroma. Fruity and hoppy flavor. A bit like dish water after a while. Fruits and hops in the finish as well. Far fram the best beer this brewery has presented. Oakes (18543) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 12, 2005
Golden-amber colour. Soapy, piney/thymey hop aroma. Moderately hoppy amber ale with woody, toasty notes, and an even balance. Style Police Ruling: an ESB should not be made with such a clean yeast...this is an amber ale. But as argo0 rightly points out, no complaints. It’s a good session beer.
