Crack open Yeti Imperial Stout’s sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yeti’s already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you can’t tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

I must have gotten a bad bottle? To me it is like drinking liquid dust. Extremely dry. To a point where I have drink some water just to get rid of the dry, dusty pallet. Almost like drinking caulk. I prefer sweeter, smoother stouts. I will try the rest of the bottle tomorrow. Still think the bottle is bad because drinking this is not enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Medium, slightly bitter aroma with dark chocolate and coffee. Pitch black color with medium beige head. Strong, averagely balanced, organic taste with dry dark fruits, oak with alcoholic twist, slightly bitter coffee and bitter roasted malts. Wide taste spectrum and long aftertaste with dry fruits. Medium/strong body with light carbonation. Overall, bit boozy oak, bitter nuances dampen other flavors. Still, vivid and high quality.

Stor beska i avslutningen.

Great beer, but I prefer the chocolate and espresso versions that were available a few years ago. Nice with the smaller bottle though. Thick and oily, slightly smoky and strong with coffee.

Aromat mlecznej czekolady waniliowej, nutka espresso. Intensywnie i apetycznie.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2016 3 finger frothy tan coloured head, as beautiful as it?s little brother. Dissipates quickly. Pitch black beer. Aroma is seriously like chocolate and lemon ice cream with hints of a ’dark’ and deep aroma which I guess is the oak aroma. The citrus becomes more and more apparent as it warms up.Taste is actually pretty citric upfront, instantly followed by creamy chocolate mousse-like flavor, along with sweet vanilla. Slightly vinous. Nice, warming alcohol kick at the back. Coffee bitterness reveals itself as it warms up. This is equally thick as the regular Yeti but sticks to the palate much better. Overall, I don?t think I can choose between the two but if I have to choose, this is slightly better.Top notch stout.

Pitch black with a creamy brown head. Aroma is... wow!! Chocolate, espresso, vanilla and oak. Taste is strong on the vanilla, but roasted malt and chocolate are there. Full body, low carbonation and wood finish. Slightly bitter at the end. Great beer!!

Beautiful sour beer. I really like this. I'm also half kicked in the ass. But, with that said, it has a nice sour, candy sour. I dig it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A deep frothy tan head on a near black body. A dense aroma features wood, chocolate, vanilla and mild coffee. The Oak chips manifest themselves in a damp woodiness and a deeper oak taste. Earthy and citrus hops, sweet chocolate, coffee, crème brule, toffee and dark berries create a deep and complex taste profile. This is an IS edging towards an imperial black IPA. The blend is rich, sweet but bitter at the same time. A dense and slightly sticky texture are also assets.
