Serving: from tap at Beer Junction.
Aroma: cask wood, coffee, whiskey.
Appearance: average-sized, rocky, brown, initial head with fair lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Black-hued body.
Taste: lightly bitter initial flavor and lightly bitter finish with hints of cask wood and alcohol. Long duration.
Palate: full-bodied with dry texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: very good but not exceptional.
Dense bodied and dark foam. Strong roast flavor and persistent after taste. Gets better as it warms up in the glass. hajsman (339) - GdaŮsk, POLAND - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle sharing during Hevelka. Probably infected bottle because tasted like shit mostly... Lot of expectations and big disappointment DonGregorio (370) - POLAND - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle shared at tasting. Black beer with rocky brown head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, wood, some alcohol with strange herbal or mint (!) note. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, with lots of coffee, dark chocolate, wood and again some herbs / mint. Woody, burnt coffee finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Not bad, but very strange, worse than regular Yeti. MavDunk (103) - - MAY 14, 2017
Pours jet black with tan head. Scent is raisins, malts, chocolate, molasses, and oak. Taste roasted malts, prunes, vanilla, and coffee. Big and boozy. A good imperial stout. Not amazing to me. Andrew196 (1851) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Pours black, slight crimson in the edges, darn tan head, uniform cascading lace. Nose is a remarkable blend of vanilla, wood, coffee, fudge, even cinnamon. Full body, chocolate appears now with the vanilla, coffee bean, fresh roast coffee, sweet lactose, molasses. Excellent!
