COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crack open Yeti Imperial Stouts sophisticated sibling -- Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout. Although these beers come from the same clan, they have entirely different personalities. Aging on a blend of French and toasted oak chips infuses a subtle oak and vanilla character into Yetis already intense chocolate, roasted coffee malt flavor and hugely assertive hop profile. Who says you cant tame a Yeti? 75 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Pour is black through and through with a light brown head. Lots of chocolate and toasted malt on the nose, hints of oak, some coffee, strong dark fruit notes, and some molasses. Lots more of the oak on the taste, wow, a bit of vanilla, some caramel, dark fruit, toasted malt, milk chocolate, and some dark bitter coffee. Insanely delicious, the oak perfectly compliments the delicious chocolate and coffee notes and rounds this beer out wonderfully.

I cannot believe that I havent rated this. Pours black with a thick, full, brown head that settles slowly. The aroma is big on heavy chocolate and vanilla, along with lesser amounts of roasted malts, coffee, and oak. The taste is pretty dry with some mild bitterness. Its similar to the nose altogether, but different elements are more distinguished. I find heavy roasted malts and oak, with the still potent complimentary flavors of chocolate and coffee. Minor alcohol and hints of vanilla round this out. Long and mild aftertaste of chocolate and coffee. Full in body, thick in texture, and soft carbonation. This is one of my personal favorites.

Simply delicious. Massive coffee and chocolate in the aroma with hints of vanilla. The taste is sweet with flavours of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt, and a hint of the wood. The mouthfeel is thick and the flavour last for a long time. Fantastic beer.
