4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I wanted to be tough on this beer, but I feel like I can’t go any lower than a 4.2 without being dishonest. It’s a great beer. An amazing beer, even.
But I was slightly disappointed, because in my opinion the regular Yeti is basically the perfect beer. This one is a bit mellower, with quite a bit of vanilla - not just a hint, but a LOT of vanilla. I think that makes it taste a little strange, kind of like a cross between the regular Yeti and a British sweet stout or milk stout. It’s certainly more sophisticated than it’s older brother... but does a Yeti really need to be sophisticated?
Chmielowo-ziolowe, dosc nietypowe w aromacie i smaku jesli chodzi o ten styl. Brakuje troche ciala, polslodkie z palona goryczka na srednim poziomie. Bardzo dziwne, nie wiem czy to kwestia slabszej butelki ale nie spelnilo oczekiwanych wrazen podczas degustacji. LiwkoLiwko (438) - POLAND - JUL 8, 2017
Kawowo, chmielowy. Nieco drewnianych akcentów. Zabrakło wanilii. Brakuje nieco ciała i sztisowej gładkości. Lowenbrau (4276) - Asturias, SPAIN - JUN 26, 2017

BBD: not noticed but who cares anyway.
In short:solid aged IStout.
Pours quite black withnice light tan head, short head retention, some lacing. Roasty, licorice, coffee, molasses, dried fruit, nutes and wood nose, quite complex but well balanced, everything working together. Full bodied, soft carbonation, viscous texture. Taste follows the nose, robust beer but smooth and delicate at the same time, tons of roasty, chocolate and malty flavours, paired with wood and coffee, well integrated. Very enjoyable.
Dense bodied and dark foam. Strong roast flavor and persistent after taste. Gets better as it warms up in the glass.

Bottle sharing during Hevelka. Probably infected bottle because tasted like shit mostly... Lot of expectations and big disappointment DonGregorio (407) - POLAND - JUN 4, 2017
Bottle shared at tasting. Black beer with rocky brown head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee, wood, some alcohol with strange herbal or mint (!) note. Taste is medium sweet and bitter, with lots of coffee, dark chocolate, wood and again some herbs / mint. Woody, burnt coffee finish. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation. Not bad, but very strange, worse than regular Yeti. MavDunk (104) - - MAY 14, 2017
Pours jet black with tan head. Scent is raisins, malts, chocolate, molasses, and oak. Taste roasted malts, prunes, vanilla, and coffee. Big and boozy. A good imperial stout. Not amazing to me. Andrew196 (1902) - Katy, Texas, USA - MAY 5, 2017
Pours black, slight crimson in the edges, darn tan head, uniform cascading lace. Nose is a remarkable blend of vanilla, wood, coffee, fudge, even cinnamon. Full body, chocolate appears now with the vanilla, coffee bean, fresh roast coffee, sweet lactose, molasses. Excellent! Ronritter (728) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 3, 2017
