UPDATED: OCT 30, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Kevin! Super black, oily pour with a deep, deep mocha head that rests as a collar and film. Aroma is sweet and smooth dark chocolate, a sweet creaminess, brown sugar, some milk, and a good amount of oats. Taste is roasty oatmeal and roasted malts, light dark cocoa nibs with a mild, milky underlying sweetness. Maybe just a touch of coffee beans throughout. Creamy mouth feel with a lightly bitter finish. Another Yeti variant, another extremely tasty & well-done beer.

Bottle from Jax Beer & Wine in Cumming, GA. Aroma is dark fruits (prunes, figs, cherries), caramel, dark chocolate, boozy raisins, chocolate cherries. Taste is silky smooth with loads of flavor...dark fruits, cherries, dark chocolate, chocolate desserts, cherry liqueur. The Yeti is no joke and this may have been one of my favorite versions so far. csaso (2266) - Missouri, USA - MAY 16, 2017

Draft. Black with an average tan head that lingers around and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is oatmeal raisin cookies, dark roasted malts, and cocoa. Taste super roasty with cocoa, coffee, oats, vanilla, and dark fruit. Thicker overall with lingering cocoa and raisins.

Opaque black color with tanned head. Aroma has caramel, dark malts, raisins. Taste is malty sweet with long sweet aftertaste. Flavors of dark malt, syrup, raisins, dark fruits.
Pitch black, dark brown head. Rainy licorice aroma. Sweetish with full body and well rounded mouthfeel. Coffee and tar, but sticky raisins disturbs. Long bitter finish.

22 oz bomber pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, dark fruit and some chocolate. Taste is chocolate, coffee and grains,. canary dog (766) - Rutland, Vermont, USA - MAR 11, 2017
Thick and heavy. It has that nice oily or velvety mouthfeel that indicates a properly executed Imperial stout. The Russians would be proud. There is a subtle-- not overwrought-- lip-smacking sweetness that accompanies each sip, and slowly fades away into taste-blindness as you get to the bottom of the bomber. I think this would be a stunning oater to sit in the cellar. I need to get some more. jake65 (3592) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - MAR 5, 2017
Bottle picked up at Smokes n Suds in Lewiston, enjoyed this some time back in January. Not a lot of notes by hand on this one, I’ve had Yeti and the variants several times now and it’s always a favorite. Beautiful appearance is dark dark brown, nearly black with a thick brown head. Aroma is thick and rich with roast, cocoa, and an underlying sweetness. Silky smooth and moderately dense, big flavors of roast, dark chocolate, and oats. A little bit sweet mixed in there, but predominately roast and bittersweet chocolate. Finishes rich and smooth. Worthy of a 4+ rating which is sort of standard for me with the Yeti clan.
