COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Much like its legendary predecessors, this Yeti is big, bold and dark.  The addition of rolled oats softens Yeti’s notoriously roasty backbone and the small amount of raisins added in the brew kettle create a unique dark fruit character.  Just as admired as those that came before it, Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout is a softer beast.

Pretty much my idea of a perfect stout. Smooth, heavy, comforting beer. I love it.

22 oz bottle. Aroma: malty, roasty, and boozy, with hints of molasses, vanilla, raisin, toffee, and leather. Taste/Palate: sweet and creamy; finishes slightly astringent and bitter. My new favorite beer of all time. Perfection!

Pours pitch black with a small brown foam. Smells like an oatmeal raisin cookie. Taste is oatmeal cookie, hints of dark fruits, mild bitterness. Full-bodied with a smooth texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Great Divide Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout finishes with a mild sweetness, quite similar to said cookie.

Aw yeah, there is a thick juicy yummyness about this brew. It’s intense with ripe dark fruity chocolate and a well balanced hint of roasted malts in this well-done Yeti. I had my first in at the Nickel Taphouse in Baltimore. Wonderful silky smooth beverage with a robust beige foamy head. The carbonation here is balanced. The mocha chocolaty flavor makes it very special. I would compare this to Oscar’ Blues’sTen-Fidy with less of a hop presence.

Another great Yeti, this one slightly more molassesy than previous iterations. A great, slick mouthfeel compliments its inky black appeal.

Poured from a 22. Color is dark with a tan head. Aroma is sweet like molasses. Flavor is slightly boozy, sweet with molasses and raisin. There is a nice roasty malt flavor to it with a slight chalky finish. Great beer!

Appearance is think as motor oil. Filled with oatmeal raisin goodness. This is one of the best beers I’ve had recently.

Intense chocolate and vanilla aroma
Pitch black with beige head
Taste is full of roasted notes, begins in chocolate and ends in a bitter coffey finish that lasts really long. There is also some marshmallow sweetness in the taste
Really full body and creamy with soft carbonation. never had a beer with such full body before
Fantastic, had high expectation and still got impressed

Big! Bold! Dark! Yet smooth! Simply a great imperial stout. Not boosy. What you would expect from great divide. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft at the Giant Eagle cafe in Pittsburgh. This was an almost perfect combination of everything that is right about proper brewing. Ready for the next one...
