Orabelle is brewed with barley, wheat, and rye. This Belgian-style tripel is a golden beauty. Its two yeast strains, orange peel, and dash of corriander impart suprising complexity and richness to this delicate ale. Dont let ORABELLEs nature fool you, this is one flavorful brew. Watch out, shes a charmer- one sip and youll be in love.

Wonderful variety of flavors with a great golden appearance. Complex citrus twang that just dances across the palate.

Poured a hazy yellow with big, bubbly head. Nice citrus and malt aroma. The taste is somewhat sweet and complex. You dont taste the 8.3 alcohol content. I enjoy Triples and this has some good qualities, but Ill drink a Westmalle anyday over this.

12oz bottle served in a Tripel Karmeliet A - Pours a glowing amber orange with zero head. Light specks of lacing when swirled. S - Orange, pineapple, bready and sweet malts, musty hay, kind of a flat aroma, maybe due to the low carbonation. T - Fruity off the top, orange, pear, banana, apples, spice, boozy fruit, musty grains, sweet pale malts, honey, coriander, M - Low carbonation, almost flat, surprisingly soft feel though. Medium to full bodied. Not as good as I wanted it to be. Ok flavors but every thing seemed dull. The very low carbonation didnt help either. Hades was the last Belgian style that this brewery did well. Serving type: bottle 02-01-2013

Bottle from Total wine Naples. Pours pineapple yellow and cloudy. Slight orange notes on the nose. Bigger orange on the tongue with a bit of esters on he finish. This one feels more like a Belgian wit than a abbey triple but its still tasty.

glennmastrange (2779) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Bottle. Light to moderate grain for the malt, moderate flowers for the hops, light dough for the yeast, with white wine, honey and fresh apricot. Head is small, fizzy/frothy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy light amber. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a soft carbonation and a lightly alcoholic finish. Great fruity aromas, good balance make this a nice drinking Abbey Tripel.

Respectable tripel - wheaty taste that almost pushes into the German style category.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow color. Thick white head with nice initial lacing. Sweet fruity citrus smell, almost candylike bubble gum aroma. Malty sweetness followed by spiciness. Finishes with a mellow tartness that leaves tongue tingling. No alcohol notes considering its an 8.3 % abv brew. Great beer, has nice wit beer like quality with high ABV. Lots of different flavors going on here. Very complex, definitely seek out again.

Bottle pour..golden orange hue..slight haze..aroma is nice..slight spice notes..apricot and some of the orange as touted on bottle..on second whiff aroma is better than expected..palate is thinner than expected and just not enjoying the taste as much as the nose..ok version but probably wont seek out again..decent

Beaver (1746) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 30, 2013
12 oz bottle, bottled on 12/31/12. Pours slightly hazy straw yellow with a medium creamy white head that goes to a thin film that laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet and tart fruit with corriander and a bit of funk.

The flavor is bready malts with some fruit and corriander and a bit of a funky bitter finish. The mouthfeel is pretty full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a solid beer. Kind of a cross between a tripel and a wit. Easy drinking but with a bang.
