Pour on tap at Avery Sourfest 2013, hazy yellow pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of lemon, biscuit, some odd fruity notes, slight yeast, hints of grass, grain in there, slight funky tone. Taste is a mix of funk, earth, slight grassy notes into fruit, lemon, slight biscuit, finishing slightly fruity, slightly yeasty. onceblind (10096) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUN 27, 2013
At Avery Sour Ale Fest 2013. Hazy light gold with a thin sticky white head. Nose is funky as all, with some sweet barn malts and dust. Flavor is malty and balanced with some funky yeasty dustiness, a touch of sourness and Brett towards the end, with a nice sweet yet subdued hay/spiciness throughout. On tap at the 2013 anniversary fest...I’m guessing it’s the Brauer.
Cloudy apricot color.
Aroma of tart apricot, honey, orange peel.
Significant carbonation and mouthfeel.
Flavors of tart apricot, pluots, prunes, honey, lime soda, spritzer. Overall refreshing and tasty though more tart and less herbal than typical of the style. cubs (10675) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Tap @ Avery SourFest 2013. Pours a cloudy orange appearance with a white head. Zesty, lemon-lime, herbal, light cheese, tart aroma. Lactic lemon, vanilla, oaky, citrusy, kind of strange flavor.
