On tap at Avery Sour Fest poured a hazy golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of lemon, barnyard and straw. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. On tap at the brewery before the Friday GABF session. Not very red - sort of a hazy amber color. Small off-white head leaving a ring. Tart cherries, funk, and wood on the aroma. Flavor has caramel, sour cherries, wood, and slight buttered popcorn. A little grainy. Somewhat acidic on the palate with medium body. Solid beer, but not a standout in the style.
