Hazy copper/orange pour. Thick white head with decent lacing. Aroma is mainly from hops. Grapefruit, citrusy, piney hops. Fairly sweet flavor. A little caramel, but mostly base malt with a little bit of breadiness. Dry finish with lingering hop flavors. ---Rated via iPhone

Quality. Ripe orange and pine hop profile with a well balanced, light caramel malt profile. A crisp, dry, slightly peppery finish makes for a refreshing IPA. Towards the end of the glass it was a tiny bit more sweet than perfect - but that is being hyper critical. If you are looking for a classic west coast style IPA this will be more than satisfactory.

Draft - Really clear Amber color. Pretty strong bitterness but nothing very complex going on here.

Marstonlad (884) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 26, 2017
On tap at Janoinen Lohi, Helsinki. Pours cloudy golden with a little white head. The aroma features citrus fruitiness, grainy maltiness and some pine. Taste is light to medium sweet initially, slightly surprisingly so, with bitterness appearing later on. Quite substantial hoppiness in the finish. Flavours of sweet pale bread, hay, lemon and orange; not much pine. The palate is medium bodied and very smooth. Nice IPA, fairly moderate in hoppinesd, at least by modern American standards.

kapusil (1432) - Budapest, HUNGARY - MAY 24, 2017
0.355l bottle. Dark orange body with a thin white head. Both the aroma and the taste is big on hops. Pine is the most significant character, but it has notes of citruses, toffee and a tiny bit of toast. It has been a while since I had such a bitter IPA. The piney, citrusy hop bitterness stays on the tongue for a long time. Nice IPA.

MelvinKalksma (1536) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 14, 2017

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, pine, grain, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Hazy golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, fruit and pine; ends slightly bitter and dry with grain, hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Have to say that there is not much going at all. Such a shame it is filtered to oblivion. Okay beer, but nothing close to what it could have and should have been.
