Nice enough, but not quite right. To begin with, the texture is sort of oily which is just off-putting. Then, it doesn’t help that it’s a weird combination of sickly sweet and unpleasantly bitter. I know, a hop-heavy IPA will always be bitter but there has to be something special to balance it out. I’m being harsh, I do think this has all the elements of a very nice IPA, but the balance of nearly everything here is just not quite right.
Beer with copper aspect, medium bitterness, soft carbonized, good volume of foam, (drunk a 20cl tap beer in NaPalmě, Praha, CZ #601)(#3 US, #1 Colorado). MashForever1 (3) - - NOV 10, 2017 does not count
Outstanding! Extremely drinkable. Hints of malt and not as many pine notes that I expected. pleispleis (170) - Maccagno, ITALY - NOV 10, 2017
bottiglia 355 cl, schiuma beige fine media persistenza, colore ambrato velato, al naso malto ananas e frutta tropicale,, in bocca malto caramello agrumi frutta tropicale, corpo medio, carbonatazione moderata, lieve astringente, un po’ troppo sbilanciata sull'amaro accentuato molto lungo nel finale. 10.11.17 Bill Becker (1773) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 16, 2017

This pours a beautiful copper and leaves an abundant head that is slow to dissipate. The smell is pure pine to me and I anticipate that this will translate to a strong pine flavour and I'm right.
This is a very bitter ale to me with the malt making only a token presence. I wish it was a bit better balanced but all in all, I could see myself buying this on a regular basis.
Like someone else mentioned...try the Hercules Double for more complexity.

Extreme bitter more than hops. Was contemplating between this and dogfish 120 minute. Will have that next

Bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Ambrata carica, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media.
Grumbo (3967) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2017
Bottle, UK import, source not recorded. Backlog entry. Entering my historic scores for US beers whilst visiting New York. No tasting notes kept, just rating. prawlie (1675) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2017
Bottle. Clear amber with a pillowy head and well carbonated. Highly hopped pine aroma. A blast of hops on the palate, and a clean dry finish with a hint of sweetness. Balanced and flavoursome. A decent version of the style, yet it wouldn’t go on my list of ’special beers’, its just nice quite there.
