Great Divide brews Titan IPA for hop disciples -- independent beer drinkers seeking out robust, flavorful beers characterized by their abundance of hops, flavor, aroma and bitterness. As a big aggressively-hopped India Pale Ale, Titan IPA fills this bill -- beginning with piney hop aromas and citrus hop flavors, and finishing with a rich, malty sweetness that is carefully balanced with crisp hop bitterness. 65 International Bittering Units (IBUs).

Clear golden-amber color with an adequate head. Aroma of caramel and light dough balanced by a resiny-grapefruity spiciness. Light sweetness and medium body on the taste with a moderate bitter finish. Overall this is a well balanced and well made IPA.

Bill Becker (1366) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 16, 2017
From Oct 2005 This pours a beautiful copper and leaves an abundant head that is slow to dissipate. The smell is pure pine to me and I anticipate that this will translate to a strong pine flavour and I'm right. This is a very bitter ale to me with the malt making only a token presence. I wish it was a bit better balanced but all in all, I could see myself buying this on a regular basis. Like someone else mentioned...try the Hercules Double for more complexity.

Bottle @Bir&Fud Bottega (Rome). Ambrata carica, appena torbida, schiuma bianca media.

Bottle. Clear amber with a pillowy head and well carbonated. Highly hopped pine aroma. A blast of hops on the palate, and a clean dry finish with a hint of sweetness. Balanced and flavoursome. A decent version of the style, yet it wouldn’t go on my list of ’special beers’, its just nice quite there.

Tap at pub. Pours golden with a medium sized white head. Aroma has citrus with piney hops. Taste is malty with citrus hops. Full palate with a nice long finish. Great.
